Born from Real Experience
I am thrilled to introduce you to Portable Showers—a product born out of necessity and shaped by our commitment to innovation, quality, and community empowerment.
Growing up in Mofolo, SOWETO, I witnessed the daily struggles faced by communities without reliable access to clean water or proper sanitation. These experiences made a lasting impression on me. They became the foundation of my vision: to build a product that is practical, reliable, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
Design with Purpose
Our portable showers are thoughtfully engineered for ease of use and maximum convenience. We’ve included features such as:
Easy-fill, enlarged cap sizes for quick refilling and cleaning
Velcro straps for stability during use
Durable handles for portability
Mesh pockets for storing toiletries
Sun-attracting materials for eco-friendly water heating
These features aren’t just functional—they make showering possible in places where it otherwise wouldn’t be.

CEO
Vuyo Molefi witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by marginalized communities from her upbringing in Mofolo, SOWETO. With a relentless drive to make a positive impact, she has emerged as a trailblazer by combining her passion for entrepreneurship, with a deep commitment to community empowerment.
Ntombizanele Melaphi
Sales and Marketing
As a trade development representative for a Premium tobacco brand, Zozo went on to open new markets in SOWETO, Khayelitsha, Gugulethu, Langa, and East Rand. Despite the success of opening value chains for the brand, Zozo was restless and eventually resigned in pursuit of entrepreneurship.
As an entrepreneur since 2017, the journey revealed a different world view which gave her the space to grow and carved out the mindset for solving socioeconomic problems.
Puseletso Motsemedi
Financial Director
Her resilient career in academia, and literature, has molded Puseletso into a self-sufficient individual that strives to ensure continuous success at the SOWETO Youth Expo.
As such, her work on a book series looks to introduce South African authors to the German market whilst she’s working on becoming a better entrepreneur through the GIBS Victory is Hers program.
Thato Moleko
Secretarial Services
With a career that began in hospitality as an admin, the work experience shaped her organizational skills and keen eye for detail. These foundations built an administrative career, with a diverse background in business coordination, administration and Entrepreneurship for Thato Moleko.
Lerato Mokoena
Communication
After her matric, she went to college and enrolled in a Marketing career stream but found her calling in Business management.
Her first corporate job was in telesales where her work ethic, empathy, and rules of engagement were chiseled. That experience came in handy and prepared her for the world of entrepreneurship as well as a solid handle on a strong work
ethic and continuous learning.
